Jolan was the Master of Ceremonies for the two-day hybrid Europeana Conference in Warsaw in 2025. He introduced speakers, went over housekeeping, fielded questions online and in the room, provided recaps and wrapups, and prepared speakers and panellists for their presentations. Over 600 people attended Europeana 2025, including 275 in person in the award-winning POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. The conference offered 36 sessions packed with 62 presentations, workshops, projects and talks, led by a fantastic line-up of 113 speakers. Topics included AI for cultural heritage, 3D in cultural heritage, the future of digital cultural heritage, EU policy for GLAM, EU policy for digital cultural heritage, and more.
