Our class work on El SalvadorOur students have had access to Alonso de Vandelvira's stonemasonry book through Europeana and also in real format. They can see how geometry is linked to the construction of structures and how the accuracy of line drawing must be put into practice to make a well-made construction.Because we are in love with the buildings of our city, for years we have carried out exercises to deepen the knowledge of this art inherent in the world of architecture and engineering. You can see a quick summary of the way our students work in these two videos:videos and photos taken over many days with our students. Public domain.
We started from plans obtained from old documentation and begin to work on our project |

Pictures taken along several consulted bibliography and made by studentsLater, the students design, little by little, the pieces necessary to build the structures. It is important to subdivide the problem into independent parts and distribute tasks in a coordinated manner.
We have the help of Diego de Siloe and Andrés de Vandelvira
